GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Broncos in Rescheduled Clash
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Swift Current Broncos tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre.
The Hurricanes (15-18-2-1) are coming off a three-in-three weekend in which they posted a 1-2-0-0 record. Lethbridge was downed 6-0 on Sunday afternoon in Edmonton against the Oil Kings as it was the fourth time this season the Hurricanes were shutout, and third in Edmonton. Jared Picklyk made 20-saves in the defeat. The Hurricanes have posted a 9-7-2-1 record in 19 home games this season.
The Broncos (15-21-4-1) earned a 4-2 victory at Scotiabank Saddledome against the Calgary Hitmen on Sunday. Josh Filmon scored twice while Owen Pickering and Josh Davies added the others; Isaac Poulter made 35-saves in the victory. Swift Current has posted a 5-12-4-1 record away from home this season and are 4-0-1-0 against the Hurricanes.
Tonight will be the sixth of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Broncos; Lethbridge has posted a 1-4-0-0 record against Swift Current this season.
Tickets for tonight’s game can be purchased at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre. Tonight’s is a rescheduled game from January 2nd – all tickets for January 2nd will be valid for entry at the ENMAX Centre.
All patrons will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or negative, privately paid for COVID test prior to entry to the ENMAX Centre and must wear a mask at all times in the facility.
