GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Pats on Awards Night

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes play the second of a two game weekend tonight as they welcome the Regina Pats to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm on Awards Night.

The Hurricanes (32-29-6-0) are coming off a 4-1 loss last night at home against the Red Deer Rebels. Calen Addison scored the lone goal for the Hurricanes in the defeat while Logan Flodell made 22 saves. The loss was the ‘Canes fourth straight setback and snapped a two-game home winning streak.

The Pats (37-25-5-1) have won four straight games after a 2-1 overtime win last night in Cranbrook over the Kootenay Ice. Sam Steel scored both goals in the win for the Pats. Regina enters 8-2-0-0 in their last ten games as they are the hottest team in the tough East Division.

Tonight will be the final of four meetings between the Hurricanes and the Pats this season; Lethbridge has posted a 2-1-0-0 record after earning wins in the first two meetings.

Tonight is also Awards Night at the ENMAX Centre as the annual Awards Ceremony will begin right at 7:00pm. THe Hurricanes will also hold Full Team Autographs following the contest.
