GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look to End Losing Streak; Welcome Warriors

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a four-game homestand as they welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre in the WHL Suits Up to Promote Organ Donation presented by RE/MAX.

The Hurricanes (34-15-2-5) enter on a three-game losing streak after suffering a 6-3 loss on Wednesday against the Spokane Chiefs. Logan Barlage, Zack Stringer and Brett Davis scored in the defeat. It’s the first time all season that the ‘Canes have lost three straight games in regulation and just the second time they’ve lost more than two consecutive games. The Hurricanes enter tonight with a 15-7-2-4 home ice record.

The Warriors (12-38-4-0) enter on a 12-game losing streak after being shutout 6-0 on Wednesday in Everett by the Silvertips. Moose Jaw will end a seven-game road trip tonight, including a five-game US Division swing. In the six games prior, the Warriors have been outscored 33-12.

VS. WARRIORS: Tonight will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. The ‘Canes have posted a 3-0-0-0 record so far this season outscoring the Warriors 18-5 in the three games. Lethbridge is 4-1-2-0 in the last seven meetings going back to last season. The ‘Canes have shutout Moose Jaw in two of the last four meetings.
