GAME DAY: Hurricanes Make Lone Trip to Prince George

Prince George, BC – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a four-game road trip with the first of three in British Columbia tonight at 8:00pm MT as they visit the Prince George Cougars at CN Centre.

The Hurricanes (37-16-2-5) enter having earned a 3-2 victory on Sunday afternoon in Calgary against the Hitmen. Dino Kambeitz scored the game-winning goal while Koletrane Wilson and Chase Wheatcroft added the others in the win; Carl Tetachuk made 31-saves in the victory. Lethbridge enters tonight tied for the most road victories in the WHL with a 20-8-0-1 record away from home.

The Cougars (17-34-4-4) enter on a four-game losing streak after suffering a 6-3 defeat on Saturday in Kamloops against the Blazers. Vladisalv Mikhalcuk, Majid Kaddoura and Brendan Boyle scored in the loss while Taylor Gauthier made 21-saves in relief. Prince George enters tonight having lost their last five home games and are 10-17-2-2 at CN Centre this season.

Tonight will be the only meeting on the season between the Hurricanes and Cougars; Lethbridge was handed a 6-5 shootout loss last year at the ENMAX Centre in the lone meeting against Prince George. The Hurricanes are 2-5-0-2 in their last nine meetings against the Cougars over the last five seasons.

VS. COUGARS: Tonight will be the only meeting on the season between the Hurricanes and the Cougars. Last year, Prince George earned a 6-5 shootout win at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge. Over the last four years, the Hurricanes have posted a 1-4-0-2 in the last six meetings against the Cougars.
