GAME DAY: Hurricanes Resume Play; Host Broncos

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to action tonight after a 15-day pause as they welcome the Swift Current Broncos to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (12-13-2-0) were last in action on December 28th when they dropped a 5-2 decision to the hands of the Broncos. Miguel Marques scored his first WHL goal in the loss while now Saskatoon Blade Noah Boyko added the other. Lethbridge has posted an 8-5-2-0 record this season at home.

The Broncos (13-15-3-1) have also not played since December 28th when they earned their third straight win against the Hurricanes this season. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp for the Broncos in the win, including Connor Hvidston who netted the game-winning goal. Swift Current has posted a 4-9-3-1 record away from home this year.

Tonight will be the fourth meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Broncos; Swift Current has posted a perfect 3-0-0-0 record against Lethbridge this season. Tickets for tonight’s game can be purchased at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.

All patrons will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or negative, privately paid for COVID test prior to entry to the ENMAX Centre and must wear a mask at all times in the facility.

VS. BRONCOS: Tonight will be the fourth of eight meetings this season between the Hurricanes and Broncos. Lethbridge is 0-2-0-0 against Swift Current this season after going a perfect 6-0-0-0 against the Broncos in the 2019-2020 season. The ‘Canes have won nine of the last 12 meetings against the Broncos going back to 2018-2019. The ‘Canes have posted an all-time record of 85-95-7-3 record with 12 ties.
