GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Hitmen in Regular Season Finale
Calgary, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes visit the Calgary Hitmen today at 2:00pm at Scotiabank Saddledome in the regular season finale.
The Hurricanes (32-30-4-1) enter on a six-game point streak going 5-0-1-0 in that span after a come-from-behind 5-4 overtime victory on Friday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Yegor Klavdiev scored twice, including the overtime winner, while Brayden Edwards also scored twice and Alex Thacker once in the win. Bryan Thomson made 35-saves in the victory. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 14-17-2-0 record on the road this season.
The Hitmen (25-34-6-2) enter on a three-game losing streak after suffering an 8-3 defeat to the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday. Zac Funk scored twice while Blake Stevenson scored the other in the loss. Calgary has posted a 14-15-4-0 record this season at the Saddledome.
