GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Broncos in Final Meeting

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to the ENMAX Centre tonight at 7:00pm as they welcome the Swift Current Broncos at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (27-29-3-1) enter having earned a 5-1 victory on Sunday afternoon against the Edmonton Oil Kings. The ‘Canes scored all five of their goals – by five different goal scorers – in the second period while Bryan Thomson made 38-saves in the win. The triumph improved the ‘Canes record to 3-1-0-0 in their last four games. Lethbridge enters 14-12-2-1 at home this season.

The Broncos (25-31-5-2) are coming off a 3-0 shutout win on Sunday in Calgary against the Hitmen. Cole Nagy, Carter Stebbings and Karson King scored in the victory while Isaac Poulter made 37-saves for his fifth shutout of the season and second in his last three starts. Swift Current enters with a 5-1-0-0 record in their last six games while posting a 10-17-4-1 on the road this season.

Tonight will be the final of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Broncos; Lethbridge has posted a 2-5-0-0 record against Swift Current, but are 2-1-0-0 at the ENMAX Centre in the season series.
