GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Giants

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to action tonight as they welcome the Vancouver Giants to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (19-10-4-4) are coming off a second straight 5-4 shootout loss on Wednesday as they were downed by the Red Deer Rebels. Jake Leschyshyn, Calen Addison, Dylan Cozens and Taylor Ross scored in the losing cause. The Hurricanes enter tonight 10-2-2-2 in their last 16 games.

The Giants (23-11-2-0) enter on a three-game losing streak after falling 4-3 on Wednesday in Medicine Hat to the Tigers. The Giants enter atop the BC Division with 48 points on the season. Vancouver acquired for Hurricanes’ forward Jadon Joseph from the Regina Pats this morning and he is expected to be in the line-up for the Giants.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Giants; the two teams split a pair of games last year with the road team victorious in both games by 5-2 scores.
