GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Rebels in Exhibition Tune Up

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin their final weekend of the 2021 ENMAX Pre-Season tonight at 7:00pm as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels to the ENMAX Centre.

The Hurricanes (1-1-0-0) enter having suffered a 4-3 defeat last Saturday in Medicine Hat against the Tigers. Justin Hall, Logan Barlage and Nolan Bentham scored in the losing cause while Chase Wheatcroft had a pair of assists. The ‘Canes outshot the Tigeres 22-19 in the contest. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 1-0-0-0 record at home during pre-season play.

The Rebels (2-1-0-0) enter on a two-game winning streak having earned a 5-1 win last Saturday in Calgary against the Hitmen. Arshdeep Bains scored twice while Dallon Melin, Carter Anderson and Ethan Rowland added the others in the win for the Rebels. Red Deer has outscored the opposition 8-1 in their last two games and are 1-1-0-0 on the road in the pre-season.

Tonight will be the first on a home-and-home set between the ‘Canes and the Rebels to end the pre-season. Tickets for tonight’s game can be purchased for $10 in advance at the Lethbridge Hurricanes office, the Lethbridge Minor Hockey office or at any Gas King location in Lethbridge. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

NOTE: All patrons will be required to provide proof of vaccination (first or second dose) prior to entry to the ENMAX Centre and must wear a mask at all times in the facility, except when eating or drinking.
