GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Wheat Kings on Teddy Toss Night

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes end a four-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre for the Canadian Tire Toque and Teddy Toss.

The Hurricanes (8-10-1-0) were last in action last Friday when they earned a 3-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings. Justin Hall scored twice while Alex Thacker added the other in the win; Bryan Thomson made 36-saves in the victory. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 3-1-1-0 record in their last five games and are 6-3-1-0 at home this season.

The Wheat Kings (9-12-0-1) were downed 3-0 on Wednesday in Swift Current by the Broncos. Brandon outshot Swift Current 47-14 in the game while allowing just two shots in each of the last two periods of the game but Isaac Poulter stood tall in win for the Broncos. Brandon has lost three straight games.

Tonight will be the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Wheat Kings; Brandon earned a 5-2 win on Remembrance Day. Tickets for tonight’s game can be purchased at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre, the Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Centre, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or online at www.lethbridgehurricanes.com.
