Next Home Game: The Hurricanes welcome the Red Deer Rebels to the ENMAX Centre on Friday at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online at, by phone at 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Centre.

Celebrity Dinner: The Hurricanes will host their annual Celebrity Dinner on January 25th at Sandman Signature Lodge. The night will feature former NHLer and ‘Cane Wes Walz and will be hosted by TSN’s Play By Play Announcer Dennis Beyak who is the television voice of the Winnipeg Jets. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,250 while individual tickets for the dinner can be purchased for $150. More information can be found at

Hockey Gives Blood: The Lethbridge Hurricanes have once again partnered with 106.7 ROCK and Canadian Blood Services for the 8th annual Hockey Gives Blood Drive. Lethbridge and the Hurricanes are taking on Red Deer and the Rebels in a challenge of which community can donate the most during the month of January. The totals so far have Red Deer in front of Lethbridge 162-117 in total donations. Donation appointments can be made by going to

Golden Boy Autographs: Following the game on Friday, January 17th against the Red Deer Rebels, World Junior Champions Calen Addison and Dylan Cozens will be signing autographs during a post-game meet-and-greet. There will also be a pre-game presentation to honour the two ‘Canes players.


Friday, January 10th – 4-2 Win at Calgary Hitmen: The Hurricanes ended a two-game overtime losing streak on Friday with a 4-2 win in Calgary against the Hitmen at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Alex Cotton scored the game-winning goal in the victory. Newly acquired forward Brett Davis made his Hurricanes debut in the win collecting an assist on the game-winning goal.

Saturday, January 11th – 7-2 win vs. Swift Current Broncos: The ‘Canes earned their second straight win on Saturday as they defeated the Swift Current Broncos 7-2 at the ENMAX Centre. Brett Davis scored twice in the win while Koletrane Wilson, Zack Stringer, Chase Wheatcroft, Chase Pauls and Logan Barlage scored in the victory.


Friday, January 17th – vs. Red Deer Rebels (7:00pm): The Hurricanes play their final home game in January on Friday as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels for the final time this season. The ‘Canes have posted a 1-1-0-0 record in the two games this season at home against Red Deer.

Saturday, January 18th – at Medicine Hat Tigers (7:30pm): The ‘Canes begin a seven-game road stretch on Saturday as they make their second-last trip to Medicine Hat to face the Tigers. The Hurricanes have posted a 1-1-3-0 this season in five meetings against the Tigers.

Nice Run: The Hurricanes find themselves on a nice run over their last 11-games as they have posted an 8-1-2-0 record in that span. The Hurricanes have earned points in seven straight games going 5-0-2-0 in that time frame.

Nice First Weekend: Hurricanes overage forward Brett Davis had quite the impact in his first two games after being acquired last week. The product of Oakbank, Manitoba posted three points in two games, including a pair of goals in a 7-2 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday while assisting on the game-winning goal on Friday in Calgary. Davis also hit three crossbars in the two games.

They’re Back: The ‘Canes will receive both Calen Addison and Dylan Cozens back this weekend for their games against Red Deer and Medicine Hat. The duo combined for 18 points in seven games at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship helping Team Canada capture gold in the Czech Republic.
