Fan Bus: The Lethbridge Hurricanes will be holding a Fan Bus for the regular season finale in Medicine Hat against the Tigers on Saturday, March 16th! The ‘Canes and Tigers will tangle at 7:30pm and you can be there! For just $60 + tax, you will receive your ticket to the game and bus ride to-and-from the Canalta Centre! The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, March 13th! Call 403-328-1986 to secure your spot on the Fan Bus!

Single Game Playoff Tickets: Single game tickets for the 2019 WHL Playoffs will go on sale on Wednesday, March 20th at 9:00am! The ‘Canes will begin the WHL Playoffs with home-ice advantage on Friday, March 22nd at the ENMAX Centre! The opponent and placement of the Hurricanes is to be determined. Call 403-329-SEAT (7328) to secure your playoff tickets starting on March 20th.

2019-2020 Season Tickets: Hurricanes Season Tickets for the 2019-2020 regular season are now available! Don’t miss any of the electrifying action next season by securing your seat for all 34 regular season home games today! Call 403-328-1986!

Playoff Packages: Hurricanes 2019 WHL Playoff Packages will be available for pick-up starting on Wednesday, March 13th at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.

Home Away From Home: While the Hurricanes are on the road, be sure to take advantage of Browns Socialhouse, your Home Away From Home. All ‘Canes road games will be broadcast on the televisions at both the West and South side locations of Browns Socialhouse.

THE WEEK THAT WAS

Wednesday, March 6th – 4-1 Win vs. Brandon Wheat Kings: The Hurricanes began their final homestand of the regular season on Wednesday with a 4-1 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings. The ‘Canes clinched a berth in the WHL playoffs with the victory.

Friday, March 8th – 5-2 Win vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes improved the 6-1-1-1 in nine games against Medicine Hat this season with a 5-2 win. A total of 13 players on the Hurricanes registered at least a single point in the victory.

Saturday, March 9th – 7-4 Win vs. Calgary Hitmen: The ‘Canes earned a 7-4 win over Calgary in the final regular season home-game of the year. The Hurricanes clinched home-ice advantage with the victory over Calgary at the ENMAX Centre.

THIS WEEK’S GAME SCHEDULE

Friday, March 15th – at Red Deer Rebels (7:00pm): The Hurricanes will play their second-to-last regular season game on Friday as they travel to Red Deer to face the Rebels. The ‘Canes have posted a 3-1-0-1 record in five games prior against the Rebels.

Saturday, March 16th – at Medicine Hat Tigers (7:30pm): The ‘Canes will play their final game of the 2018-2019 regular season against their Highway 3 rivals at the Canalta Centre in Medicine Hat. The ‘Canes are an impressive 6-1-1-1 record in nine games against the Tigers this year.

NEWS & NOTES

Home Ice Clinched: The Hurricanes clinched home-ice advantage in the first round of the WHL Playoffs with a victory over the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday. The ‘Canes will play the first two games of the post-season at the ENMAX Centre on March 22nd and 23rd. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, March 20th.

Clicking on All Cylinders: The ‘Canes are riding a season-long six-game winning streak after sweeping all three games on a homestand last week. The previous long winning streak was four games set back in November. The Hurricanes are an impressive 9-1-0-0 in their last ten games.

Top 3: The ‘Canes have the top three active point scoring streaks by players in the WHL. Jake Elmer is leading the way with a 16-game point streak having collected 32 points (18g-14a). Dylan Cozens sits at 14-straight games with 22 points (6g-16a) while Nick Henry has collected a point in 10 games in a row with a total of 17 points (6g-11a) in that span.
