WHL Announces Weekly Schedule

Lethbridge, AB – The Western Hockey League has announced the Central Division schedule for this coming weekend, which will feature a three-game set between the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Hurricanes versus Oil Kings set will be as follows:

Thursday, April 15^th – Edmonton Oil Kings at Lethbridge Hurricanes – 7:00pm
Saturday, April 17^th – Lethbridge Hurricanes at Edmonton Oil Kings – 7:00pm
Sunday, April 18^th – Edmonton Oil Kings at Lethbridge Hurricanes – 7:00pm

These will mark the third, fourth and fifth meetings of the season between Lethbridge and Edmonton, who opened the 2021 WHL Regular Season on February 26^th and 27^th with the Oil Kings victorious in both match-ups.

WHL Release:

The Western Hockey League announced today the updated schedule of games for the Central Division for April 15 through April 19.

The Medicine Hat Tigers have been cleared to return to play following further testing for COVID-19, which yielded no positive results. Team activities for the Tigers were suspended last week after the Club was deemed to be a close contact of the Calgary Hitmen, who received one positive test for COVID-19 within the team cohort. Team activities for the Calgary Hitmen remain suspended at this time.
